Aisyah stands at a very special place in my heart. We're in all classes together. Every. Single. One. From Database, to UI, to Arab for two sems and of course, programming. I see her every single day, in every single class, which makes me feel this sort of...bond. Between the 6 of us, I've spent so much time with Aisyah, we're practically family. Sha was always busy with her work, Ain rarely joins our shenanigans, and Nadia and Fatin are KC residents, so I'm stuck with her most of the time, and I got to tell you, Aisyah is really great company. Whenever I'm with her, I just let loose and be myself. I can talk with her for hours, just random stuff like unicorns, alternate dimensions, zombies and lots of nerdy stuff in my mind which I usually keep to myself, and she doesn't see me as weird. Well, of course she did mention that I'm weird, but it didn't seem to matter to her.

She's simple. I like that about her. From her point of view, life is an algorithm represented by an 'if else' flowchart. When there's a problem, her brain lists down all the outcomes for all the possible solution, and she picks the possibility that has her preferred outcome. Her system is simple and her simplicity overruns the complexity of life itself. She's mind over matter. Her perspective on a given situation is highly dependant on rationality and rationality alone. She doesn't let emotions get in the way, or empathy for any of that matter. She's also quite effortlessly academically successful. All she needs is 20 minutes the night before an exam to scan all her notes/tutorials/quizzes, and she can answer the exams the day after. It's a good thing, her mindset is simple, and she gets away with life just like that.

Aisyah takes nothing at heart, even if she does get offended, she'd be in a bad mood for 10 minutes and then she's back to normal, she'll just let it go, effortlessly. It's easy being friends with her, everything is simple, but sometimes her simplicity backfires. She's so...oblivious sometimes. Her focus is selective. There are certain things she's alerted at, and she ignores the others, usually social related stuff. Like, is anyone cries in front of her, she wouldn't know what to do and just stroke their shoulder awkwardly saying "There, there", haha. She can be heartless and mindless with that poker face of hers that only shows emotions once in a blue moon. Sometimes, she doesn't even get our jokes. Her incapability to detect sarcasm isn't as worse as Sheldon Cooper, but she's definitely weak in that area. One of us would make an ironic joke, and she'd be like "That doesn't make sense." and everyone would sigh. She's kind of a buzzkill.

In all her serious merious rational dominance, she's actually a very fun person. When she's on super hyper mode, she dances, and her dance is the same for every song, no matter how off beat her dance steps are, she does this...shoulder shrug thingy...with her arms circling sideways...it's hard to explain, but it's hilarious watching her doing it. Let's just say, if you put the ZC girls in one room, on an unholy exam night, with a really catchy song in the background, the room turns into a semi-disco: dancing & books.

Aisyah is just really...precious. I mean, from what I see, she's the most enthusiastic when it comes to doing stuff together. She's a frequent KC goer, she likes adventure, she'll always have all these random ideas up her sleeve, that we end up doing together. We gazed at the moon once. She wanted to walk around CFS at night, and so walked we did, we sat somewhere where we could look at the full moon comfortably and clearly. I started reciting some poetry. "Bulan, kenapa sunyi tanpa bintang?" and she suddenly intervened "Eh adalah, tu ha, satu dua, tiga, tiga bintang." in which she received a glare from me, because the thing is, she was serious. "Itu bukan soalan, itu puisi."

*sigh*

See what I mean? Oblivious.
