I took down the tl;dr post on how I ended up going to Egypt. I felt that it was too long, very unnecessary, and I prefer for it not to exist on my blog. Therefore it is gone.

However, I still want a pre-Egypt post, thus the existence of this post.

I'm leaving for Egypt tomorrow. I'm done with French exams, I've packed all my things, just need to convert my MYR's to EGP and I'm good to go. This is the first time I'm travelling overseas alone and it's quite nerve-wrecking, but my sister was fine when she went alone, so I'm hoping that it'd be the same safe journey for me as well. O God, please guide me towards the right route, please protect me from any harm beings, please inspire me to do useful things, and please make it easier for me to perform ibadah. Amin.

I already have a list of things to do, list of places to go, and list of challenges my sister wrote for me. I'm not going to reveal them though. I want it to be special and ~mysterious~, but I want to share challenge #8 which is my personal favourite "Try Egyptian food (atleast 10)" Oh Una, that is not a challenge for me, I think that would be the first thing I tick off the list. Anyway, I'm looking forward for this trip, the things I'm going to learn, the places I'm going to go, and the adventure I'm about to embark on.

There was this doa my naqibah from my study circle in CFS mentioned. It relates to travelling or going anywhere in general, and I really liked it.
"Ya Allah. Semoga tempat yang ingin aku pergi ini adalah sebaik-baik tempat. Sesungguhnya kau adalah sebaik-baik penempat"
